My experience over the past 17 years of driving has been this: If you don't do anything to get yourself pulled over, then you probably won't be.

Someone who has a suspended license due to a habit of unsafe driving may have to actually think about it, as opposed to it being second nature to someone like me, but it shouldn't be too dificult to do when you know what's at stake if you get pulled over.

I signal every turn, stop at stop signs, do not run red lights, or yellow lights for that matter if I have time to smoothly stop, etc.
