Is it bad to sell a very expensive gift from a close friend?

I just cant seem to get rid of the feeling of guilt about it.

If I enjoyed using the one given Id happily keep it, but as it stands I cannot comfortably use it, so I feel its otherwise a waste to NOT sell it, as it will be largely gathering dust.

Since Im not enjoying the gifted version and know that the larger one would be a better fit and make me happier, am I wrong to sell such an expensive and thoughtful gift and use the proceeds to go towards the one I really want?

However, I do feel very bad that the version gifted was not quite the one that I'd been lusting after.
