My parents love me but they don't like me. How do I get them to like me?

I've tried really to be more independent like trying to apply for a job but they refuse because they think I shouldn't have to work for anything since they can get it for me.

I told them i was okay with taking the city buy to school because its only 2 miles away from my house and instead they bought me car.

Later on in the year my mom decided to buy a new laptop( which i didnt ask for) because the laptop that i saved up for didn't have a CD port so she bought this $600 dollar hp for me.
