It just seems like she s laying there doing nothing with zero stimulation when she could be learning or doing something more important.

Lately I ve just been letting her do this, and wait until she cries to pick her up.

When we put her down, she is suddenly wide awake and will lay there for at least 20 minutes without crying, but won t fall asleep.

We ve only just begun doing this, so we haven t had much success.

What I be heard is that we should get her drowsy, then put her down in her bassinet and let her try to fall asleep by herself.

My baby is 2 months old, and we are trying to teach her to fall asleep on her own and self-soothe.
