Last month my period was 2 days late (I was very stressed with work so I chalked it up to that) but it only lasted 2 days and my at home pregnancy test was negative.

My boyfriend and I tracked my ovulation and had sex when we were suppose to for 4 months straight- my period always came on time and lasted for 4 days.
